We are indebted to our volunteers, and we thank you for your commitment to CommunityHealth. Here, you will find information about scheduling, training, and more.

  • Volunteer Handbook
The volunteer handbook  serves as a guide to CommunityHealth volunteer policies and procedures. Because volunteers are the lifeblood of the health center, we want to ensure that your experience is both enjoyable and meaningful. Please read the handbook carefully and then complete the Receipt of Handbook form.
  • Scheduling
On our volunteer site, you can check your schedule and service history, sign up for dates, update your information, and view announcements. Log in now.Note: Only volunteers who have attended appropriate orientation sessions can use the scheduling system. If you are a current volunteer and are having trouble logging in, please contact Chrissie Fouts, manager of volunteer services, at 773.969.5923 or  cfouts@communityhealth.org.
  • Training

For the following positions, you must complete a training program before you can volunteer. After you attend volunteer orientation, a CommunityHealth staff member will contact you with details about training for your position.

    • Lab
    • Pharmacy technician
    • Diabetes educator
    • Volunteer interpreter

There is one-time $25 fee for volunteer training to cover materials and administrative costs. Volunteers must pay fees prior to enrolling in a training program. If you cannot afford the training program fee, you may apply for a scholarship. You can pay your training fees online.

If you have any questions, contact Chrissie Fouts, manager of volunteer services at 773.969.5923 or cfouts@communityhealth.org

  • Volunteer Recognition

We deeply appreciate all of our talented and dedicated volunteers and want you to know how invaluable you are to our mission. However, we want to say an extra-special thanks to those listed below for going above and beyond.
