Completed surveys can be emailed to Kelly Jordan at kjordan@communityhealth.org. Thank you for your time! Clinic Volunteer Satisfaction Survey Volunteer OpportunitiesAs a volunteer-based organization, the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers are essential to our ability to provide free, quality health care. We currently have 694 volunteers, including more than 250 physicians, who donate more than 38,000 hours of time a year and perform 95% of our services. Please find complete details on volunteer opportunities at CommunityHealth below. Volunteer Opportunities for Medical Professionals We also offer a variety of behind-the-scenes volunteer opportunities on board committees. These important positions allow volunteers to donate their professional skills and personal expertise to further the CommunityHealth mission. Volunteer ApplicationsInterested in becoming a clinic volunteer (lab, triage, front desk, spanish/polish interpreter, pharmacy technician, referral assistant) or volunteer medical professional? Click below to fill out an application. Your application will then automatically be sent to the Volunteer Services Coordinator. You can also contact Kelly Jordan, Volunteer Services Coordinator, at 773.395.9901, ext. 23 or kjordan@communityhealth.org to learn more about all volunteer opportunities at CommunityHealth. Volunteer RecognitionThere is no question that our 600+ volunteers are the lifeblood of CommunityHealth. As a way of recognizing these extraordinary individuals, a "Volunteer of the Month" program was initiated in early 2007. We want to say thank you to all of our volunteers, but want to say an extra special thanks to those listed below for going above and beyond. CommunityHealth selects a clinic volunteer and volunteer provider to "salute" each month. In May, we are pleased to announce Dr. Jeff Mono (ophthalmology) as the Volunteer Provider of the Month. Dr. Mono has been extremely helpful in identifying the needs of CommunityHealth patients and has been an excellent resource in establishing the Diabetic Eye Exam Clinic. We would also like to recognize Tom Lis (polish interpreter) as the Clinic Volunteer of the Month. |
